Alec Patrić is an Australian novelist and short story writer. His debut novel, Black Rock White City, won the 2016 Miles Franklin Award, was listed by The Australian and The Australian Book Review as one of the best novels of 2015, and was awarded the Highly Commended prize in the 2016 Victorian Premier’s Literary Awards. His second novel, Atlantic Black, will be published in October 2017, and his third collection of short stories, The Butcherbird Stories, will be published in 2018.
Heather Rose is an award-winning Australian author who has written seven novels for adults and children. Her latest novel, The Museum of Modern Love (2016), is inspired by the life and work of the artist Marina Abramović, and was awarded the 2017 Stella Prize and the 2017 Christina Stead Prize.
