Ryan O’Neill is an acclaimed short story writer and novelist whose fiction has appeared in numerous journals and anthologies. His short story collection, The Weight of a Human Heart, was shortlisted for a range of awards and his novel, Their Brilliant Careers, has been shortlisted for the 2017 Christina Stead Prize for Fiction and the 2017 Miles Franklin Award. Ryan lives in Newcastle and teaches at the University of Newcastle.
Cameron Hindrum is a writer, poet, playwright and teacher, based in Launceston. Since 2003, he has coordinated the annual Tasmanian Poetry Festival, and for nearly 20 years he has organised spoken word events, readings, literary events and poetry slams for a variety of organisations, including the Australian Poetry Slam, Tasmanian Living Writers Week, the Tasmanian Writers Centre and the Junction Arts Festival.
